Love and Correction go hand in hand………..

 Proverbs 10:17
He who heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.
Sometimes when it comes to love, our flesh only wants to hear the good things. That can cause us to have selective hearing.  In order for us to grow in the right direction, we’ll need to be able to receive correction.  Sometimes parents have selective hearing when it comes to their children.  Why? We love them so much, that at times we can’t see their errors, and may attack those who bring them to light. Love and correction work together.  God loves us and wants the very best for us, so what does He do? He corrects us.  Proverbs 3:11-13 (NIV)
” My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline and do not resent his rebuke, 12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father  the son he delights in. 13 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding”  Pride can cause us to deny discipline. If we refuse to see an error, we’ll refuse to correct it.   Proverbs 10:17
He who heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.  If a teacher doesn’t correct a student it affects the class, if a manger doesn’t correct a employee it affects productivity, if a Pastor refuses to correct members it affects the body.  If God doesn’t correct us, our lives become filled with chaos.  Our Heavenly Father’s chastening  may not be good to us, but it’s good for us……..

Job 5:17
Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty
