Is It Acceptable…………..Unto GOD?

Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

“I did it my way” A song sang by many artists and  life choice for many people!  We’ve all been there and had the “If it feels good do it”,attitude.  Our flesh  still tries to sing that song each day.  Romans 7:18 “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not”  It’s not just how we act, but even how we think.  Our minds have recorded every negative word spoken to us and the enemy uses that to try and hinder our walk with Christ. Our body can go all day without eating when we’re busy, but try and fast for a day, it smells doughnuts from 6 miles away!  We can watch movies all night, but set a time to pray and watch your eyelids get heavy and your mind start to wander.  It’s a discipline we have to work on each day.  If we start out in prayer it’ll help us think, say and act the right way. It won’t always be easy, but the end result will be good. How do we do a self check? One question, “Is It Acceptable Unto God?” Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
